Pangea continues to grow due to the referrals of our very loyal customers. Pangea’s customers have been a catalyst/milestone in our growth. Pangea has earned the business from larger customers who procrastinated or just had a brainy idea that they needed 600 sweatshirts in 2 days. Their existing printer would not turn it this fast so Pangea jumps in and makes it happen. Of course my customer needs to adhere to my rules when they are pushing us to make this happen.
We would need them to decide on the brand, the color, the artwork and come up with a size breakdown so I can place the order for inventory by 2:00 in the afternoon. Artwork needs to be approved first as we still need to produce positive and then burn the screens. Our staff starts at 6:00 am in order to make sure the order is completed in time. Pangea has secured many customers using this model/method. What I cannot understand is why their existing printers would not do the same. What I have heard is that the screenprinters shops are not as organized and efficient as Pangea is.
In order to produce reorders the exact same way the first order is done Pangea has art packets for each job where the screen mesh, the print order and the ink colors are all logged. In addition to this we keep a strike off (tee shirt) printed in each packet so we have a reference point. It is imperative that this happens as many times we are filling holes in company’s inventory or fulfilling uniform orders so you know they all need to look exactly alike.
